How to Arrive at the Destination

Car

We’re just 20 minutes from junction 32 of the M4 motorway, on the doorstep of Cardiff. The A470 runs north-south and the A465 (Heads of the Valleys road) runs east-west through the region so there’s easy access from all directions.

Coach & Bus

Good value coach travel brings you into the bus station in Merthyr Tydfil town centre.

The extensive bus service throughout the region offers great value day tickets.

The T4 bus, with leather seats and free Wi-Fi, links Cardiff and Mid Wales, stopping off at Merthyr Tydfil, Llwyn Onn Reservoir and near the base of Pen Y Fan.

Plane

Cardiff Airport is a 45-minute drive, with daily flights from major European destinations. There are excellent road links to Bristol, Birmingham, London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.

Train

There are regular trains from Cardiff, which is a major hub for travel to all parts of the UK. The four stations in the region are Merthyr Vale, Troed-y-Rhiw, Pentrebach and Merthyr Tydfil.
